Show COL. TBTJIOO DEPAHTS. Failed to Land Bonanza for Which Ho Cnmo to Town. Unable to accomplish tho mining deal upon which he returned to Utah a few weelcs ago, Col. Isaac Trumbo will leave for California again this morning, to give his attention to the gold mines and mills that aro being oporated by him In that State. It was said during tho day that the Colonel had induced Newt Dun-gan, Dun-gan, a late manager of the Doiy-Judge at Park City, to accopt a position on his properties In California, but this was denied. It was also said that during hl3 sojourn In the city Col. Trumbo had made a tender of $4.50 a share for tho Farnsworth holdings In tho Bullion-Beck, Bullion-Beck, but this was rejected and the undertaking un-dertaking was Indefinitely hung up. However, the Colonel promises to return re-turn at a later day, when local Interests Inter-ests may be prepared to offer him something some-thing in the diggings that shall meet his requirements. |
