Tho Jewish Relief society gave another an-other charity card party on last Tuesday Tues-day afternoon. A very pleasant time was spent. The first prize was won by Mrs. N. Davis, the second by Mrs. Sam LIchtensteIn, and Mrs. Loeffler carried away the consolation prize. Mrs. M. H. Deskey won the prize at lotto. The East Side Card club was entertained enter-tained on Thursday evening at the homo of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Tuttle. t Mrs. A. J. Gorham entertained at a pleasant informal Kensington Monday afternoon lu honor of Miss Buddemer of Portland. A most enjoyable evening was spent at the Armory on Tuesday at tho dancing danc-ing party given by company H. Mrs. U. S. McClellan was hostess at an enjoyable party Saturday afternoon, given in honor of tho tenth birthday of her daughter, Mildred. After games, music and refreshments, the little folks enjoyed themselves very pleasantly with dancing. Miss Ardella Blttnor gave an exhibition exhi-bition of the physical culture class of the L. D. S. school on Friday afternoon, and a very interesting time was spent by all those who attended. The features of the afternoon were a mazurka dance, darky schottlsche and an Indian club drill. Lulu Griggs, Marlon Wilson, Martha Bullock, Bul-lock, Bessie Mulhollond, Josle Morris and Llla Salmcn. On Monday evening a reception was given by Mrs. Isabel Scars and Mra. Cannon, in honor of the birthday of their mother, Mrs. Emmellne B. Wells. Just the members of the Wells family were present. An Informal musical programme pro-gramme wan given, also several congratulatory con-gratulatory speeches, after which supper sup-per was served. Miss Lena Shellar delightfully entertained enter-tained the members of tho Bonalya Sewing club Thursday afternoon from 2 until 5 o'clock. The afternoon was .spent with music and sewing, and delicious de-licious refreshments wero served.
