Show Mrs. Mills is a retired school teacher, and enjoys the friendship of a variety of friends, from University groups to local fireside classes. She also is an accompanist accom-panist for the Golden Years Orchestra. For her sixty years of loyal service to South Bountiful First Ward, Bishop Perry Jordan, and Counselors Kent Holbrook and Jerry Larrabee, presented her with a book, and sincere thanks. Mrs. Sherrie Holbrook was sustained to the position of ward organist. Members of the Moss family, children of Mrs. Blanche C. Moss, their spouses, children and grandchildren, met on Sunday evening at the home of Jim and Connie Cleverly for their monthly get-together. The group enjoyed a lesson and program, plus refreshments. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Brisko and infant son were in attendance, but returned to their home in Mt. View, Wyo. the following day. Mrs. Florence Francis left our stormy February weather, exchanging it for the beautiful climate of the Carribbean, as she spent eight days touring that Sea and Islands located in the cruise pattern. Arriving in Puerto Rico, she i boarded an ocean liner, cruising cruis-ing to Dutch, French, Spanish and English Islands, before touring the Virgin Islands and the return to San Juan airport for the return trip home. Mrs. Francis accompanied a group from Bountiful on this most enjoyable winter vacation. |
