He achieved each of his cub awards, including the highest-a highest-a Webelos can gain. The Light of the Arrow, and the Duty to God Trail award. WHEN Tadd entered the scout program, he made a commitment to himself and to others that he would attain the rank of Eagle Scout by the age of 13. Through hard work and careful planning he was able to achieve this goal. When he was in the 6th grade he had the opportunity to travel to New Zealand, and while in mid air over the Pacific Ocean he still had scouting in mind as he began work on his aviation merit badge. HIS favorite award is the Eagle rank, and his favorite merit badge is fishing as this is also his favorite sport. Tadd is currently attending South Davis Jr. High in the 8th grade, where he is on the honor roll for both scholarship and citizenship. Some of his favorite subjects are science, arts and crafts, and shop. LAST year he won second place in the school science fair, and then went on to win a trophy at the regional science fair at Weber State College. He is serving as Senior Patrol Pa-trol Leader in his scout troop, and is president of the Deacons Quorum in the Val Verda First Ward. |
