Winners of the season in the Futurity League were Jerry Jacoby, first place, Jerry Atkins, second place and Gene Green third place. ONE OF the highlights of the day's races was the Smith and Barker Training entered their team of colts not quite two years old in a race with Neil Christensen of the A-League A-League (for a fill in race) and won with a time of 24.36. This team of colts are not quite old enough to enter the Futurity league. This was an exciting race to see how fast these young colts were on a track-np |
