Show Peggy Mitchell Jom Dobrusky United in Marriage At a quiet wedding which was performed in the chapel of the Castro Valley ward of the L D S church on July 8, Miss Peggy Mitchell became the bride of Thomas Dobrusky, with Bishop Herman A. Christensen of the of the Castro Valley ward officiating offi-ciating at the rites. Present for the marriage were the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Harold Mitchell of this city; Joe Dobrusky, brother of the bridegroom, and his brothers-in-law and sisters, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Knab of the California city, and Mr. and Mrs. Elwood Page of St. George. The groom is a son of Al Dobrusky of Parowan and Mrs. Mary Haycock Matheson of Albuquerque, N. M. The parents of the bride were hosts at a wedding supper in Oakland following the ceremony, i Both have been students at the i Parowan High School with Mr. Dobrusky being a member of this year's graduating class. The bride was prominent in music and drama dra-ma and held offices in the student stu-dent body and other organizations organiza-tions at the high school. Tom had served as student body president presi-dent during the past year and was prominent in athletics, playing play-ing football, basketball and baseball base-ball for the school. The newly married couple will make a home in Castro Valley for the present time where Tom is employed by a large lumber company. |
