Show Funeral Services Pay Tribute to Nettie Carlow Cox Funeral services were conduct-in conduct-in the Cedar Stake House Monday Mon-day for Mrs. Nettie Carlow Cox, 45, resident of Hamilton Fort Mrs. Cox, wife of Carl T. Cox local lo-cal livestock man, died at her home Thursday, April 22, following follow-ing a lingering illness. She had been in poor health for about four years. Mrs. Cox was born in Beaver on Feb. 9, 1911, a daughter of William Wil-liam and Eva Alcott CarJow. She married Mr. Cox on June 20, 1939 in the St. George LDS temple, tem-ple, and they had made their home in Hamilton's Fort since. She is survived by her husband and three sons, Ray and Richard Cox, Hamilton Fort, and Alvln Cox, McGill, Nev. Also surviving are three sisters and two brothers. broth-ers. The funeral services' were conducted con-ducted by Bishop Edwin C. Cox of the Cedar Seventh Ward, and etery. Speakers at the services were Dr. Reed W. Farnsworth, Arnetta Webb and R. Reed Cox, Cedar City and LaMont Tueller, Logan, with remarks' by Bishop Cox. Invocation In-vocation was by Barlow Luke, benediction by Robert Alcott, the dedicatory prayer by Clinton Milne. Prayer at the mortuary prior to the services was by Earl Oiler. The musical program included two vocal duets, "The Lord Is My Shepherd", and "Jesus, Lover of My Soul", by Howard Wood and Herschell Neejey, accompanied by Bcrnella Jones, and a vocal solo, ."Lay My Head Beneath a Rose", by Nona Swlndlehurst of Provo, accompanied by , May White. |
