Show jNewlyweds Honored at Friday Reception In wedding rites which were solemnized in the St. George L. D. S. Temple Miss Vee Ann Benson Ben-son of Parowan became the bride of Jackie Leland Beaumont of Beaver. The marriage took place Friday, June 7 with Pres. Archie R. Boyack officiating in the double dou-ble ring ceremony. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Alma Benson of this city and the bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Leland S. Beaumont of Beaver. That same evening the newly-weds newly-weds were honored at a reception recep-tion in the Parowan First-Second Ward recreation hall. For the occasion oc-casion the bride wore a floor-length floor-length gown of white Chantilly lave over satin with long pointed sleeves. Her wedding veil was caught to a tiara of seed pearls and sequins. Attending the britie were Miss Janice Beaumont aj maid of honor, and Miss Connie Smith, Miss Sally Burt, Miss Alyson Adams and Miss Mary Ann Bet-trldge Bet-trldge as bridesmaids. They wore dresses of yellow polished cotton cot-ton and carried baby r,;,.hid carnations. car-nations. The ma' 1 of honor wore a gown of ovciiid brocaded taffeta taffe-ta and carried a yellow peonle. Standing as best man for the bridegroom was Val Leon Smith. Ushers were Fred Ward and Keith Beaumont. The mother of the bride wore a blue embroidered sheath dress and the mother of the bridegroom bride-groom was dressed In a beige embroidered sheath, and both wore corsages of pink rosebuds and white carnations. The bride's going away costume cos-tume was a green shirtwaist dress of polished cotton. Their honeymoon consisted r f a three-day three-day trip to northern Utah. At the guest book were Mrs. Nelson Taylor and Mrs. Sam Hutchlngs. Gift room attendants were Mrs. Raynor Kamlnska. Mrs. Del Ray Benson, Mrs. Ralph Mitchell and Mrs. Floyd Keel. In the kitchen were Mrs. Max Yar-brough, Yar-brough, Mrs. Garth Baldwin, Mrs. Arnell Gale, and Mrs. Sherwin Benson. Serving were the Misses Alton Morris, Jerry Benson, Linda Lin-da Baldwin. Sherwin Benson, brother of the bride was master of ceremonies for the following program: a reading by Mrs. Jean Hendrlck-son, Hendrlck-son, a song by sisters of the bridegroom, a ready by Mrs. Gaytha Benson; a piano solo by Sherry Wheatley. Max Varbrough offered the opening prayer and Randall Banks, grandfather of of the bridegroom, offered the benediction. |
