Show CEDAR CITY SOCIAL SWING Recently returning from Salt i Lake City where they combined a business and pleasure trip were Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Leishman and son Jim. During their stay the Leishmans enjoyed a visit with her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Victor Hansen. I A week end at Lehman's Cave resort for festivities in connection with the cp'.ning of the new visitors vis-itors Center was enjoyed by Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Ence and family, fam-ily, Mr. and Mrs. Mark Robinson Robin-son and family, and Mr. and Mrs. . Jay Steiner. Also attending the ceremonies were the Harold Larsens and Meade Forsyths, and many members of the Hey Cedar's Square Dance group who were Invited by the Ely, Nevada, dance group to participate in a square dance social. Jolene Hirschi and Carmen Nelson Nel-son spent a portion of the week end visiting with a friend, Elizabeth Eliza-beth Yardley, In Panguitch. Mr. and Mrs. LaMar Clark visited vis-ited with friends in this area over the week end. They arrived from Salt Lake City to attend the wedding festivities of Mrs. Clark's sister, Vicky Huntsman. H. H. CLUB "The Incredible Journey", an animal story written by Sheila Burnford, was the highlight of Thursday's entertainment as members of the H. H. Club met together. Twelve members of the club met at the home of Mrs. Pace Webster with Mrs. Douglas Clark as horlojs. The book review re-view was given by club member mem-ber Elene Jensen. Two couples have recently moved from their homes in Cedar Ce-dar City to establish residence In the state of Washington. Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Batt will be making their home in Yakima, Washington, where Gordon will be training In connection with a furniture store where he is cm-ployed. cm-ployed. Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Singleton and their two daughter are currently living in Camas near Vancouver. Vernon works at the Tidewater Machine Shop in Camas. Prior, to their departure a family dinner was held in their honor at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Bauer. On Saturday friends and relatives of the couples called at the Bauer huiTie to bid farewell and wish them luck In their new adventures. |
