Show Beaver to Host Big Game Public Meeting or Southern Region Tune 22 One of the five annual public meetings conducted each year by the Utah Board of Big Game Control will be held at Beaver, it was announced this week. The big game meeting at Beaver Bea-ver will be held Monday, June 24 at the Beaver County courthouse court-house beginning at 8 p. m. Other locations of the meetings throughout the state are Ogden, Salinn. Moab, Duchesne and Salt Lake City. i Board chairman Harold S. Crane reminded that these annual an-nual meetings are held for the purpose of gathering big game and range Information to be evaluated by the board In set- ting the 1963 big game hunts. , One such meeting is held In each of the State's five fish and game commissioner districts. Procedure at the meetings calls for reading of the recommendations recom-mendations by the Interagency Committee for each of the big game herds In the district concerned. con-cerned. This committee Is composed com-posed of field and headquarters personnel of the Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management and Department of Fish and Game As the recommendations for each herd are read and submitted, submit-ted, the meetings are then opened open-ed to recommendations from anyone In attendance. Board members study and consolidate con-solidate both the public and the committee recommendations as they set final regulations Chairman Crane noted, "these meetings give opportunity for in- divlduals and organizations alike to voice their recommendations for the annual big game harvest.
