Albert Albertson New President of Knife and Fork Club m iiiuniiiiui inn in i ..!.. mi mnimi V i i ALBERT AXBERTSON Officers of the Escalante Knife and Fork Club for the 1963-64 season were elected last week at an organizational meeting of the board of directors. Named as president was Albert Albertson, retired supervisor of the Dixie National Forest and a member of the original board will succeed Conrad Hatch as president of the organization. Elected as vice president was W. Clair Rowley, Parowan, who served on the board of directors for the past two years. He succeeded suc-ceeded Graham MacDonald. Completing the board of direct-ors direct-ors are Francis Betensen, El wood Corry, Klien Rollo. D. C. Schmutz, Dr. Paul Lunt and Lehl M. Jones. The new president announced that five lectures had been ar-anged ar-anged for the upcoming season which will begin in September. Speakers were listed as follows: September: Judge Philip B. Gilliam, Gil-liam, Denver, 'The Surge to Decency." De-cency." November: DeMille, a menta-list menta-list with a program of 'The Inner In-ner Eye." January; John Crutches, dealing deal-ing with the subject "Russia, Its -Allies, Satellites-end Peoples." February: Mrs. Helen Cud-worth, Cud-worth, with "South America Now" as her subject. April: Edmund H. Harding, rat-ed rat-ed as one of the nation's outstanding out-standing humorist, will appear in the final lecture of the season in a program titled "Ed Harding In Orbit."
