Show Philip Bayles Takes Nevada Miss as Bride In a quiet wedding ceremony which took place at the home of the bride's parents in Logandale, Nevada on Sunday, June 2, Miss Sharon Mills became the bride of Philip Bayles of Parowan. The double ring ceremony was solemnized sol-emnized by Bishop Donald Whitney Whit-ney of the Logandale Ward. Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Mills of the Nevada community are the parents of the bride and parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and The young couple were honoed at an open house Saturday June 8 at the home of the bridegroom's bride-groom's parent in Parowan, between be-tween the hours of 7:30 and 9:30 p. m. For the occasion the bride was attired in a white suit and carried car-ried a white orchid bouquet. Miss Pat Workman attended her as maid of honor. Standing as best man for his brother was Nils G. Bayles of Las Vegas, Nev. The bride is a graduate from a two year course at College of Southern Utah in Cedar City with a home economics major. The bridegroom Is a graduate of the Parowan High School and attended at-tended College of Southern Utah for two quarters before entering the National Guard under its six month's training program. He has been home for the past ten days after completing hi3 Initial training period at Fort Ord, Calif, and left this week for Fort Sill, Okla. for the final phase of his active training. |
