Show Ciair Carter Dies, Leaves Family Of Four Children Funeral services were heUI i Friday, June 7, for Lester C. Musical selections Included In-cluded a vocal duet, "When 1 Take My Vacation In Heaver." by Sylvia Davie and Vivian Marshall, Mar-shall, accompanied by Eleanor Marshall; a vocal trio composed of Yvonne McDonough, Irene GuuiiwlTt aiiu Maiiaii stBiiuCrWn, .ang "I Love You Truly," a vocal vo-cal solo "Wide Open Spaces," by Lee Marshall, accompanied by Mrs. Lee Marshall, and a vocal solo, "Ch My Father," by Parson U. Webster, accompanied by M'.s. Parson U. Webster. The Invocation was by Robert Puffer and the benediction by Cal Carter. Dedicatory prayer at the Mln-ersvllle Mln-ersvllle cemetery was by Neal Carter. Carter was active in the IDS Church, serving as a member of the Sunday School Supirinlc.i-den Supirinlc.i-den In the Cedar First Ward at the time of his death. He was employed by the Ili-Hnd Dairy. he was born in Minersvllle, July 7, 1924, to lister and Jennie Jen-nie E. Carter. He married Shirley Shir-ley Puffer Feb. 3, 1945 and the marriage was later solemnized in the St. George LDS Temple. He Is survived by his wife and four children, all of Cedar City: Tamara, Kaye, Tonya Rae, Lester Les-ter Blake and Lane J.; two brothers, bro-thers, Arlo L., Cedar City, and Authnell J., Mldvale; four sis- ters. Mrs. Stanley J. (Lillian) . McKnight. Minersvllle; Mrs. C. G. I (Mary) Tanner. Salt Lake City; I Mrs. Warren (Barbara) tmith, Provo, and Mrs. Warren (Enid) Johnson, Mllford. |
