LEON MATHESON I Sandra Jean Parry, LeonMatheson Speak Marriage Vows An impressive early morning ceremony performed by President Rudger Atkln united Miss Sandra San-dra Jean Parry and Leon Mathe-son Mathe-son In marriage. The doubl-ring rites were spoken Friday, Juno '7, at the LDS Temple in St George. The marriage was announced by Mrs. Thora Durbin and Mr. Woodrow Parry, parents of the bride, and Mr. and Mrs. Alvaj Matheson, the bridegroom's parents. par-ents. ! i Attending the services were' Mr. and Mrs. Alva Matheson, the bride's grandmother, Mrs. Lillian Lil-lian Dailey, Mrs. Chester Parry, I Mrs. Edward A. Parry, the bride-, groom's sister, LaKay, and Mrs. Deslie Anderson, a 1 1 . ,use friends. A wedding breakfast was en-! Joyed following the ceremony . In the evening the newlyweds were honored at a reception held ' at the Cedar 2nd. Ward Relief So-1 clety room. At the nuptial party! the bride was attended by ma-! tron of honor LaKay Weber and bridesmaids Mary Ann Murdock, j Phyllis Buhanan, Bonnie Clark, j Gayle Willis and Linda Jones, with Kathleen Weber serving asj a Junior bridesmaid. Each of the; attendants were gowned in like dresses styled to street length! ;nd created of brocaded coral j talfeta. Completing their ensemble ensem-ble were bouquets of white glam-ellas. glam-ellas. Flower girls holding baskets bas-kets of salmon colored flowers were petite Collette Parry and Lura Kae Weber. The bride chose a wedding gown of full length white with scolloped neck line and long sleeves. Her veil was of French illusion attached to a tiara accented ac-cented with seed pearls. She carried a bouquet of white roses and lilly of the valley. Attending the groom as his best man was Mr. Chandler Whitelaw, with brothers of the couple, Harold Marshall, Kevin Matheson and Neil Matheson serving as users. Other ushers included Dwayne Buxton, Bryce Stapley and Gary Robinson. Guests at the reception were entertained by Debbie DeMille, who rendered a dance number, a accordion solo by Kevin Matheson. Mathe-son. a vocal solo by Linda Terry, and a dance by Jackie Dailey. Mark Eldon Webster was Master of Ceremonies for the program. Attending the guest book was Avon Parry with Miss Linda Carlson Car-lson and Miss Vicky Hatch as gift room attendants. Serving were Pat and Pam Bryant, Joan and Judy Heap, Elaine Perry, Deb-bie Deb-bie DeMille and LaNolr Adams. Kitchen hostesses were Maurlne Parry, Irene Bryant, Anita Heap and Hilda Parry, aunts of the bride, and a friend, Julia DeMille. De-Mille. The wedding cake was made1 by Wanda Cox. Leon has attended College of j Southern Utah and Utah State University. He Is majoring In Tool Engineering. His bride has attended the CSU and Is a former form-er employee of the Valley View Medical Center. Following a honeymoon to Grand Canyon and Las Vegas the couple will make a home In Northern Utah. They both plan to attend Utah State University beginning fall quarter. |
