Show James Glen Bigler Succumbs To Heart Ailment Funeral services were held in Parowan Wednesday morning at 10 for James Glen Bigler, 74. who died at the home of his sister-in-law, Mrs. Laura Benson at 12:05 Sunday morning. The case of his death was given as a heart ailment. ail-ment. He and his wife, who are residents resi-dents of La Puente, Calif., arrived arriv-ed in Parowan Saturday evening, for a visit with his wife's people here. They were met here the same day by their son Ashton, and the latter's wife who had been visiting in northern Utah. Accompanying the Biglers to Parowan Par-owan was Mr. and Mrs. Frank Lyman, brother-in-law and sis-or sis-or of the deceased. Mr. Bigler was a native of Ne-phi Ne-phi where he was born Jan 7, 1889 to James B. and Maude Wit-beck" Wit-beck" Bigler. He had resided in Soda Springs, Idaho and in Parowan Par-owan for some years but had resided re-sided in the Los Angeles area for the past 40 years where he had been employed in the plumbing plumb-ing business. He married Luneta Lowder at Parowan April 22, 1913 and this marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. He is survived sur-vived by his widow, a son, Ash-t0n Ash-t0n u. I a Puente. Calif.: one brother. Alma Bigler, Salt Lake City; three sisters, Mrs. Venice Turner, Burley, Idaho, Mrs. Alice Lyman, Los Angeles, and Mrs. Phyllis Thygerson of Salt Lake. Following the services here on Wednesday morning, the body was taken to Nephl where burial took place in the Nephl cemetery following graveside rites that afternoon. |
