Show Mia Maids to Attend Conference in S.L.C. Fifteen Mia Maids from the Parowan Stake will leave early Thursday morning to participate in the M. I. A. Conference sessions ses-sions at Salt Lake City this week end. The girls will take part in the Mia Maid department work on Saturday morning, in the Parleys 6take Center. The girls were given the assignment as-signment several weeks ago of demonstrating the coming year's work for the Mia Maid department depart-ment of the entire church and have been rehearsing for this presentation for some time. The Parowan Stake representatives representa-tives will include Kathleen Mitchell, Katherine Orton, Bren-da Bren-da Chamberlain, Mickey Apple-gate, Apple-gate, Annette Halterman, Janet Gurr, Lina Sue Bess, Gay Rowley, Row-ley, Kathy Rowley, Sharon Rowley, Row-ley, Margaret Truman, Arnette Stubbs, Pauline Evans, Joan Grimshaw, Helen Pace and Vy-onne Vy-onne Gibson. Accompanying the girls will be Mrs. Norma Lemmon, Mrs. Beverly Taylor, Mrs. Corrine Ap-plegate, Ap-plegate, Mrs. Yvonne Chamberlain Chamber-lain and Mrs. Lila Truman, it is announced by those in charge. The girls have a full schedule sched-ule planned with rehearsals taking tak-ing most of the time, held under un-der the direction of Mia Maid general board members. They will also attend the dance festival fes-tival at the Ute Stadium and have a chicken dinner with the trimmings at Harmon s Cafe on Saturday evening. They will arrive ar-rive home Sunday. |
