Show Ramada to begin Senior Citizen dinners The District Nutrition Project sponsored by the Southeastern Utah Association Assoc-iation of Governments and the Grand County Council on Aging would like to express their appreciation to the Ramada Inn for the dinner service they will be providing the senior citizens citi-zens in Grand County. Beginning March 28 the Ramada Inn will be' providing pro-viding dinners for the seniors at their restaurant each Tuesday and Friday at 2 p.m. Currently Millers Mil-lers Market is catering the meals, but with the recent sale the catering business will not be continued. We -would also like to express our appreciation to the Grand County School District and Superintendent Super-intendent Meador. They '.ere very cooperative in offering their facilities to the Nutrition Project to continue the service of dinners to the elderly. Participation in the Nutrition Project is encouraged en-couraged for all persons sixty and older and their spouses if younger regardless re-gardless of income. Donations Dona-tions towards the cost of the dinner are accepted but ho set fee is collected. The Nutrition Project provides seniors with an opportunity to socialize over a well-balanced dinner. This service is sponsored by the Grand County Council on Aging, and all senior citizens residents are welcome. |
