Show Moab Legion membei plan important meet ; American Legion members mem-bers and eligible veterans are requested to attend a very special meeting on Thursday, March 16 at the Legion Hall. The purpose of the meeting is to determine what the present and future members want the American Legion in Moab to be. Nationally the Legion is dedicated to the well being of all American Veterans as a first priority; pri-ority; to the development of today's youth into the leaders of tomorrow; to National defense through compassionate strength; and to the building of America as the everlasting everlast-ing example and home of justice, freedom and democracy. The national and state legislative committees are as effective as membership member-ship indicates they should be: if Legion members represent only 10 of eligible veterans they will normally be only lOc effective. However, due to the dedication, tenacity and goodwill of the committee members this activity has been far more effective than members might indicate.
