Show Former Moab resident died in New Mexico Alvin Erwin Nash, 50, passed away Wednesday, March 8 at his residence in Silver City, New Mexico. Mex-ico. Mr. Nash, a native of Oklahoma and a resident of Moab for 17 years, was employed by U. V. Industries Indus-tries Inc. at the time of his death. He was Chief Engineer En-gineer with Homestake Mining Service Dept. in Moab. He is survived by his wife Dorothy of Silver City, a daughter, Miss Yvonne Nash of Moab, three sons, SSgt. Alvin E. Nash IH stationed in Hawaii and Terry and James of Moab, and four grandchildren. Survivors also include his mother Mrs. Lottie Lovell of St. Paul, Minn., two sisters; Mrs. Alberta Bassell and Mrs. Julianne Schmidt both of Cottage Grove, Minn., and a brother, Joe Miles of Billings, Montana. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wed. in the Curtis Bright Funeral Chapel with the Silver City Elks Lodge conducting conduct-ing the services. Interment Inter-ment will be at the Fort Bayard National Cemetery. Cem-etery. Officers of the Silver Sil-ver City Elks Lodge will serve as pall bearers. |
