Show ' Evening Of Music Entertains KIwani-Ann Group ' Seated at an L-shaped table, cleverly decorated with Valentine Valen-tine motifs and a centerpiece of red and white carnations, Ki-wani-Anns and guests enjoyed a Valentine party at the Frontier Fron-tier Grill on February 13. Red and white candy baskets marked each place and red hearts on the table and lighted red tapers completed the decorations. -Guest entertainer of the evening eve-ning was Mrs. Bennie Schmiett, - who gave a resume of the life of the great music composer, Chopin, and played several of f his compositions. Climaxing the program was the recording of one of his masterpieces. "Polonaise." "Polo-naise." , Other program numbers presented pre-sented were as .follows: tap dance "Shortemn' Bread," by Linda Schmiett and Ann Mur- j nhy accompanied by Mrs. ' Schmiett; piano solo, Carol Memmott; ballet dance, Pam Murdock, accompanied by Shau-na Shau-na Gilbert. Co-hdstesses for the social event were Mrs. Orson Stevens ' and Mrs. Wilford Robinson, with the former announcing the program. |
