Show - ifZ r r v.i r- r r r r 1 Mr and Mrs. Clair Larsen were Salt Lake City visitors Sunday and Monday. Mrs. Effie Betts received word last week that her son, Leland D. Betts. stationed at Ft Lewis, Washington, had just been promoted to the rank of corporal. Cpl. Betts entered military service March 13, 1951, and prior to that had been a member of the U. S. Naval Reserves Re-serves for four years, receiving his honorable discharge before entering the Army. Mr and Mrs. Marion Bowman and 'daughters, Deanna and Dearwyn were visitors in bait Lake City Sunday and Monday. Mr. Bowman attended a business busi-ness meeting while there. Johnnie Cook and children. Carol, Homer and Julie, accompanied accom-panied by Larry Labrum, visited vis-ited in Helper Tuesday. Mark Bellon, of Salt Lake City, was a Roosevelt visitor Tuesday. Carol Todd is in the Roosevelt Roose-velt Hospital for medical treatment treat-ment She hurt her leg when she slipped and fell at Union High School Friday night. William Hamerschmidd left Sunday for Kansas City, Mo., and Kansas to visit relatives for two weeks. This is the first time in 35 years that he has left the Basin for a visit. |
