Gayle Case Recovers From Recent Illness Mr. and Mrs. Cloyd Powell and two children returned the j forepart of last week from Lay-j ton, where they had visited a couple of days with Cloyd's parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Powell. Pow-ell. The elder Mr. Powell was recently released from the hospital hos-pital after a severe illness. Mrs. Leslie J.- Orr, a sister of Arthur, made the trip to Layton with Cloyd and family. She also visited in Bountiful and Salt Lake. On the homeward home-ward trip by bus. she was accompanied ac-companied by her daughter, Mrs. Pete (Colleen) Nielsen and small son, of Salt Lake. Mr. Nielsen came out for his wife and baby I on Sunday. Mrs. Eliza J. Olsen returned! to her work as home economics teacher on Monday, Feb. 11, after af-ter a week's absence in Salt Lake and Mt Pleasant. Her son, Richard, brought her to Mt. Emmons and spent the day. The' young man has been enjoying enjoy-ing a 50-day furlough after service ser-vice in Korea and Japan. His new assignment is at Camp Carson, Car-son, Colorado: Mrs: Clinty Ames j substituted at the high school for Mrs. Olsen. Mrs. John Richards and three children, of Mountain Home, visited during the week at the ihome of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Rogers. The two ladies did some sewing for the children while Mrs. Richards was here. |
