Show Ellen Bracken Ward Reunion On Tap For Feb. 22 All preparations are being completed for the annual Ward Reunion to be held Friday evening, eve-ning, Feb. 22. Supper will be served first. A program and dancing will furnish entertainment entertain-ment for the remainder of the evening. Dr. Spendlove and a nurse from Vernal were at the Alter-ra Alter-ra School on Wednesday to give typhoid shots. Mrs. W. T. Sur-sher Sur-sher helped to check the students. stu-dents. Valentine parties were held in all the rooms at the Alterra School on Feb. 14. Mrs. Ole Rasmussen acted as Room Mother Moth-er in Miss Hannah Richards room; Mrs. David Lundberg was Room Mother in Mrs. LaVern Smith's room. Several other mothers visited on that day. Sunday School Faculty meet-, ing was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Cook on Feb. 7, with a small chowd present, pres-ent, due to P.T.A. at Alterra. Richard Owen, of Roosevelt, member of the Stake Sunday School Board was the main speaker. Mrs. Ada Pickup and son, Quint, of Randlett, were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. S. B. Kettle on Feb. 10. The Primary officers are making mak-ing a drive for birthday pennies to send to the Primary Hospital in Salt Lake City. Let us all contribute. A genealogical meeting was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Xavier Bellon Monday evening, eve-ning, Feb. 11. Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Hatch and daughter. Mrs. Lynn Ross and Geo. Bracken was down with flu part of last week. The . Ballard M-Men, who have been playing good basketball, basket-ball, were victors over the My-ton My-ton team recently by a score of 26-23. Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Mowv, of Tooele, visited at the home of Mrs. Mowry's sister, Mrs. Angus An-gus Anderson on Friday. They went on to Lapoint because of the death of Mr. Mowry's father. |
