Show WLitCiocks Mrs. W. G. Avery Children Of School Get Valentines The children of St. Elizabeth's Church School were entertained at a Valentine party Monday afternoon. af-ternoon. A lovely Valentine box of red decorated with whit bows and hearts was filled with Valentines for all. Games and stories were enjoyed, after which refreshments were served. The Woman's Guild of St. Elizabeth's Church entertained with a pot luck luncheon Wednesday at 12 O'clock. Husbands Hus-bands of members were invited guests. After the luncheon, the women worked on quilts for themselves. They are making some really beautiful quilts and are very much interested in this project. Whiterocks seems to be supplying sup-plying its share of young men for the call to duty for their country. Going for their physical examinations on Feb. 14 were Al Mort, William Cuch, Robert Rob-ert Summers and Tommy La-Rose, La-Rose, Jr. Reed Tavapont is home on leave to visit with his family He is serving with the Marines, stationed in San Diego., Calif. Rev. Joseph F. Hogben and Capt William Avery were in Salt Lake City on a business trip early this week. The Utes held their business meeting Sunday afternoon in Talbot Parrish Hall. The sacrament of holy bap-i bap-i tism was administered to the little lit-tle daughter of Mrs'. Lorenis Washington and the little son of Mrs. Cornelia Cuch Sunday in St. Elizabeth's Church by Father Joe Hogben. |
