Show anc(lett Viola Jensen Gold-Green Ball Held Feb. 15th The M.I.A held its Gold and Green Ball Saturday. Bernard Larson's Orchestra furnished the music. Those participating in the floor show were: - Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wahlquist, Barbara Brown, Veda Wall, Beatrice Chandler, Donald Wall, Mrs. Jessie Pickup, Quint Pickup, Pick-up, Clyde Jarman, Robert and Larry Dudley. Stake visitors were Dr. and Mrs. R. V. Larson, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Ross. Mr. and Mrs. William Chandler Chand-ler are visiting in Southern California Cal-ifornia with Mr. Chandler's mother, brother and five sisters who live there. A special tailoring school was held during the week at the Randlett Ward Chapel, under the direction of Mrs. Freda S. Davis. Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Jensen visited Thursday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Jensen, of Vernal, the occasion ieing Mr. Jensen's 82nd birthday anniversary. an-niversary. Blake V. Peay visited Thursday Thurs-day evening at the home of Jesse Jensen. Mrs. Beverly Richardson visited vis-ited in Vernal Thursday. Typhoid immunization shots were started Wednesday at the Avalon School. Mr. and Mrs. Dan Oake. of Vernal, were Sunday visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Jensen. Blake Peay, Jr., spent the week end visiting in Provo. Among those attending funeral fun-eral services for Leonard Harris were Mr. and Mrs. George Brough, Mr. and Mrs. LaRue Pickup, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Pickup Mr. and Mrs. Jesse S. Brough, Mr.' and Mrs. Ralph Taylor and daughter. Diane, Gilbert Brough, Robert Brough, Bishop and Mrs. Franklin . L. Jarman, Ward Jarman, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse E. Jensen. Melvin Peterson, of Roosevelt Roose-velt was a visitor at Sunday School and Sacrament meeting this week. Sacrament meeting was under the direction of the Leota Bishop, Austin Wardle, and Ralph Durfee. Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Jensen and family visited in Roosevelt Sunday at the hohie of Mrs. Annie An-nie Bowden. |
