Show Harold Walker Speaks to Club On Civil Defense At their last meeting, held with Mrs. Harold S. Walker, on Thursday, the Mothers Study Club heard an up-to-the minute discourse on civil defense and our lack of preparedness in case of disaster. President Maude F. Richards presided. . The program had been arranged ar-ranged by the hostess, who presented pre-sented her husband, H. S. Walker, Walk-er, who gave the talk on dangers dan-gers under which we live, and our great need of preparedness in Civil Defense and the things that we as a community and also as individuals could and should do to help meet emerg'encies. All the beauties of the early fall, colorful loaves and lovely early fall flowers, made a lovely background for the afternoon's festivities. A tasty tray luncheon completed com-pleted the pleasant afternoon. Guests of the hostess were Mrs. J. .H. Armitstead, Mrs. Marilyn Potter, Mrs. Gerald Belliston.
