Show Modernettes Have Party on 23rd Club Anniversary Modemette Club observed the 23rd anniversary of their founding found-ing on Sept. 24. The very unusual affair was held at the home of Mrs. Keith Jacobs and was termed term-ed Mothers and Daughters party. Each club member brought her daug'hter as a special guest. The unique place card favors at the lunceon tables were cute little dolls, each with the picture of the daughters, real snapshots, pasted on. Every honor guest found her own facsimile. After the gay luncheon was fin-, ished, the group played Bingo with many prizes. Pall flowers and autumn leaves were used throughout the spacious rooms. Enjoying the eventful 'afternoon 'after-noon were Mrs. Roy Boyer and daughter Lois; Mrs. Harris Chip-man Chip-man and daughters Hazeldawn and Jeanne,, Marcia Ann and Virginia; Mrs. Grant Maxfield, and Janet; Mrs. Lyman Smith and Shuree and Debby; Mrs. Don B. Walker and Linda and Diane; Mrs. Glen Noble and Sharolyn Iverson, Jackie and Shauna; Mrs. Ford West and daughter-in-law, Mrs. Geraldine West; Mrs. Wayne Comaby and Ruth; Mrs. Ray Fenton and Colleen; Mrs. B. Cob-bley Cob-bley and LaRaine and Georgia Ann McNees ; Mrs. Keith Jacobs and Jacqueline Trimble. Responsible for planning the very nice affair were club officers offic-ers Mrs. Keith Jacobs, Mrs. Wayne Comaby, and Mrs. B. Cob-bley. |
