Show New Principal, 3 New Teachers At PG Seminary Ray R. Louder of the Orem Stake presidency has been chosen cho-sen as the new Pleasant Grove Seminary principal. This will be Mr. Louder's fourth year teaching teach-ing at the Seminary. Working under Uie new principal prin-cipal will be three new teachers, Earl A. McKenna, Grant Stevenson Steven-son and Melvin Lagg. Mr. McKenna was born in a small town called Leota, Utah and graduated from the Roosevelt Roose-velt High School After one year at the BYU he went on an LDS Mission in England. When he returned he was called into the armed services. Just prior to his discharge he married and after af-ter four years of married life, both he and his wife graduated from college. The couple have two young boys. Mr. Stevenson is from Ogden, Utah, where he graduated from Ogden High School. He has filled a mission in Denmark and has served in World War II 'and in the Korean Conflict. He received his master's degree from the BYU in 1955 and is presently working on his doctor's degree. Melvin Lagg was born in Cardston, Alberta, Canada, where he attended the local schools. He attended the University of Alberta Al-berta for four years and has filled an LDS Mission. He has taught Seminary cfor three years and now is teaching part time at Pleasant Grove, while attending the BYU to secure his master's degree. He is married and is the father of two sons and two daughters. |
