Show Funeral Services Held In Bountiful For Mrs. Umhml Funeral services were held Wednesday, Wed-nesday, Oct. 31, for a Basin pioneer, Agnes Taylor Marchant, 775, at the 6th ward chapel in Bountiful, with Bishop Harold L. Pope conducting. Prayer in the home was given by James F. Lemon. Prelude music was played by Evelyn Taylor; invocation, Gl.en Marchant; vocal solo, "The Lord's Prayer," Ross P. ' Findlay, accompanied ac-companied by Mrs. Linnie Findlay; speakers, Melvin J. 'Benson, Bertha B. Angus and Samuel S. Smith; organ solo, "Oh,.. My Father," Evelyn Taylor; vocal solo, "The Holy City," Clarence W. Jones, accompanied by Louise Kofford; benediction, Walter Lowery. The grave was dedicated by William T. South, and burial was in Salt Lake City. Attending the services from this area were Mr. and Mrs. Clarence W. Jones, and Mr .and Mrs. David Wilkerson and family, Roosevelt;. Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Webb, Mr. and Mrs. Reed Lemon, Bertha B. Angus, Garrett Stone, John Spencer, Spen-cer, and Melvin and Archie Benson, Ben-son, all from Ioka. CORRECTION: It was erroneously erron-eously stated last week that Mrs. Marchant was a widow. Her husband, hus-band, Robert H. C. Marchant, is still living and is now residing in Bountiful. |
