Show Teachers Brought Up To Date In Four Major Fields Duchesne County teachers got latest information in four major' fields of American life and progress pro-gress from visiting speakers at the second teachers' institute held last Thursday at the Union, High School Subjects ranged from atomic energy to emotional problems of special education. Apearing as instructors and leaders of the institute were Dr. Keith P. Anderson, associate professor pro-fessor of chemistry' at Brigham Young University;. Dr. Stuart L. Grow, associate professor of political polit-ical science at B.Y.U.; Dr. Reed Morrill, B.Y.U. associate professor of education and his wife, Demaris Morrill, a Provo- teacher and expert ex-pert on special education and emotional emo-tional problems. I Dr. Anderson ' unfolded many new aspects of the application of atomic energy to practical uses. He discussed the energy of the various weapons atomic, hydrogen hydro-gen and cobalt and how the energy can be harnessed and how it is practical or impractical in various uses Egypt being in the news teachers welcomed a modern discussion of that ancient land by Dr. Grow.
