Show AVALON P-TA HAS SUCCESSFUL CARNIVAL The Avalon P-TA held a carnival carni-val Friday evening at the Indian Recreation Center. The committee in charge wishes to thank the Roosevelt businessmen, the Indian Department, the school teachers and all. the parents for their help and cooperation. Eighty dollars were cleared for the P-TA organization. organ-ization. Mr. and Mrs. Marriner McMul-lin McMul-lin and family spent Saturday at the home of Mrs. McMullin's mother, Mrs. Pearl Jenkins of Roosevelt. They also visited Mrs. McMullin's sister-in-law, Mrs. Jay Jenkins of Othello, Washington, who was spending a few days here. She came to attend the funeral of her brother-in-law, Mr. Bruce Fitzgerald. Miss Niana Clark was brought home from the Roosevelt hospital Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Jorgensen and Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Searle attended the dance at the Imperial HalL Friday evening. A family gathering was enjoyed Sunday afternoon at the J. E. Jensen home. Those attending included in-cluded Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon J. Lewis and family of Kaysville and Mr. and Mrs. Norton Shelton and Duane of Roosevelt. Primary officers and teachers from here who attended Stake Primary Preparation meeting Saturday Sat-urday afternon were Donna Pickup, Pick-up, Jennie McMullin, Nellie Harris, Har-ris, Lula Dudley, Lydia Brough I and Shirley Stoddard. |
