Show CHANGES MADE YWMIA officers released Sunday Sun-day were Marion Taylor as age-group age-group counselor, Loye Harris as speech director, Rhea Pickup as sports director, Mildred and Hazel Brough as teachers. Sustained were Hazel Brough as age-group counselor, Loye Harris as dance director and Rhea Pickup as the speech director and Marion Taylor Tay-lor as teacher. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Chandler and family of Springvil.'.e visited here Monday. CONFERENCE HELD The Relief Society held their conference Sunday evening. President Presi-dent Hazel Wardle conducted. The following program was presented: pre-sented: Song, "The Spirit of God Like A Fire;" invocation, Viola Jensen; welcome address, Hazel Wardle; quartet, "Before Thee Lord I Bow My Head," by Lula Dudley, Hazel Brough, Bishop Stoddard and Franklin J. Jarman. Talks were given by Lula Dudley, Jennie McMullen, Jessie Pickup, i Mr. and Mrs. Owen Burgener and Bishop Stoddard. Closing song was "We Thank Thee, O God, For A Prophet." Benediction was by Gladys Jarman. Visitors attending attend-ing were Mr. and Mrs. Owen F. Burgener. Mrs. Burgener represented repre-sented the Stake Relief Society. (Crowded Out Last Week) The Relief Society ladies met Tuesday, finished a quilt, and Mrs. Hannah Harris presented the literature lit-erature lesson. Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon J. Lewis and family of Kaysville arrived here Wednesday and visited until Sunday at the home of her parents. par-ents. Mr. Lewis and Mr. Jensen went deer hunting. The 7th and 8th grade pupils attended the Union-Uintah football foot-ball at the Union field. |
