Show FIREI.3 CHATS HE " Two Fire i .'e chats were held Altonah recently one Sunday night, Oct. 21 at the home of Mr. md Mrs. Clenty Ames, with Perry Maxfield as special speaker. Also present were Bishop and Mrs. J. Arthur Timothy, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Maxfield and family Mr. ani Mrs. C'aude Murray, Peggy Ralphs, Mrs. Mable Maxfield, Coralie and Norman Maxfield, Laura and Dean Carroll, Mrs. Dorothela Durphy and Udell Winkler. Refreshments were enjoyed en-joyed by the group. The other one was held Oct. 28 at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Allred, with Udell Winkler guest speaker. Perry Maxfield favored them with songs in the Finnish language. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Jack Allred and family, Mr. and Mrs.' Ray Lambert, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Maxfield and son, Perry, Mrs. Mable Maxfield, Cora-lie Cora-lie and Norman Maxfield, Mrs. Delor Maxfield, Mrs. Ilez Ames, Bonnie Ann and Allen Ames, Bishop and Mrs. J. Arthur Timothy, Tim-othy, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Allred, Udell. Winkler and Laura Carroll. Light refreshments were served. Mrs. Clauda Murray was taken to the Roosevelt Hospital Oct. 25, where she received medical care until Oct. 28. Richard Olsen of Neola vaccinated vaccin-ated cattle for bangs in Altonah Oct. 29. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Potts and girls of Duchesne visited Mrs. Pott's mother, Mrs. Elva Snyder, over the weekend. The Mutual held a Halloween i party Tuesday night.
