Show RELIEF SOCIETY HAS WARD CONFERENCE ' The Neola Relief Society conference con-ference was held last Sunday evening eve-ning with a large crowd in attendance. at-tendance. The singing mothers sang a beautiful number, which was led by Mrs. Phyllis Wardle. Three talks were presented by Kate Peterson, Lois Duncan and LaRene Duncan. Mrs. Patra Olsen has returned home again after a 3-week visit with her sons and daughters. She spent ten days in California with her son Merland and family. While there she had the privilege of going through the Los Angeles Temple. She went to Springville and Salt Lake City where she spent the remainder of the time visiting. There was a court of honor in Roosevelt last Sunday afternoon. Those who attended from Neola were Mrs. Zola Spencer, Marden Spencer, who received his second class scout badge, and Mrs. Glenda Bingham, Marden's former Primary teacher. Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Olsen entertained at their home last Saturday Sat-urday and Sunday for her sister, Mrs. Eulala Randolph and two sons. One son, Elder Neil Eager, just returned from an LDS mis1 sion in the Northern States. The Neola ward was happy for their presence at Sacrament services Sunday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Jensen and the Stake Primary president, Lecta Horrocks, and her husband attended attend-ed a dinner last Saturday evening at the Roosevelt Seminary bulid-ing bulid-ing where the Stake Primary board members entertained their husbands. |
