Show SatldHt Ellen Bracken Phone 62662 Elders Have Party The Fifth Elders Quorum and their wives enjoyed a turkey banquet ban-quet at Ballard chapel Friday evening, eve-ning, Nov. 2. Tables were set for at least seventy, which included members of Avalon, Whiterocks and Ballard ward. Visitors outside of these wards were Pres. and Mrs. Ezra Nixon, Mr. and Mrs. Hollis Hullinger of Roosevelt and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Crozier of Neola. After the banquet the following program was given: talks by a member of the bishopric of the three wards, a vocal solo by Mrs. Junior Betts, a reading by Mrs. WiLma Parrish, several violin selections se-lections by Wilson Gutzman. Cecil Jenkins did a swell job as master of ceremonies. All present enjoyed the evening's entertainment. |
