P-TA HEARS LEADER The Avalon P-TA held its regular regu-lar meeting Thursday evening at the school house. Guest speaker for the evening was Supt. 1 Max Abbott of Vernal. Light refresh-ments refresh-ments were served to those in attendance. Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Jensen are the proud parents -of a baby boy born Wednesday morning at the Uintah County Hospital. Mrs. Jensen Jen-sen brought his wife and baby son home Saturday. Willard Wall of Salt Lake City visited Sunday at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence C. Wall Sr. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Brough and family of Rock Springs, Wyo. visited relatives here during the week. Mr. and Mrs. Morton Chandler and baby son spent the weekend visiting at the home of his parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. William T. Chandler. Mr. and Mrs. Norton Shelton and Duane of Roosevelt were Sunday visitors at the home of her parents. J. P. Stevens of Salt Lake City arrived Sunday to visit at the J. E. Jensen home.
