Show Gains Eagle v, J ) U , 'N : . V., KEVIN RICHARD CARTER Kevin Richard Carter, 14, son of Larry and Inez Carter, 285 E. 12(K) S.. Bountiful, has attained the rank of Eagle Scout. AN EAGLE Court of Honor was held by the Bountiful 4th Ward to honor Kevin for his achievement. This is the highest high-est honor received in the Boy Scout program. Kevin is entering ninth grade at Millcreek Junior High School. He enjoys participation participa-tion in many different sports especially tennis and soccer and has been on the wrestling and chess teams at Millcreek. HE HAS enjoyed his scouting scout-ing experiences and has earned his Arrow of Light, Faith in God, Duty to God Trail Award and the On My Honor religious award before advancing to the Eagle rank. Kevin is a member of Troop 403, Stone Creek District. Boy Scouts of America. He has served as Quartermaster, patrol pat-rol leader, assistant senior patrol pat-rol leader and senior patrol leader in his troop. In his Church he has served as Deacon quorum secretary, first counselor and Deacon quorum president. FOR HIS Eagle project Kevin, with the help of his troop, sold fire extinguishers and smoke alarms using the money earned to purchase a first aid kit for use by his Church and also some equipment equip-ment for his Scout troop. |
