CHRISTENSEN Exchange Vows Cheryl Day and Robert Blake Christensen were married mar-ried July 8 in the Salt Lake Temple by Elder William R. Bradford of the Council of Seventy. THE BRIDE is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. LaMar Day of 467 W. 2400 S., Bountiful. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Gordon Christensen, of Farmington, who are presently pre-sently presiding over the Spain Seville Mission for the LDS Church. A wedding breakfast was hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Randy Christensen, brother and sister-in-law of the groom and Mrs. Estell Christensen, grandmother of the groom at the Farmington Stake Center. They were further honored at a reception at the Val Verda 3rd-4th-8th Ward cultural hall. THE BRIDE'S dress was made by her mother. It featured fea-tured a bodice of satin and chantilly lace. It featured a V-shaped V-shaped inset of illusion with a heart shaped lace motif and seed pearls. It was accented with a lace ruffle and ribbon around inset, across shoulders and at back. The skirt was of satin and organza accented by a chantilly lace chapel train ruffle at bottom. The upper puff sleeves of gown were of organza pleated to a V-shape at elbows with a single ruffle of lace and ribbon bow at each elbow. The lower sleeves of chantilly lace were straight to wrist with lace ruffle at wrist. THE BRIDE wore a derby hat with fingertip veil of illusion. illu-sion. The crown was accented with lace motifs and seed pearls. The brim featured pe-cated pe-cated lace and seed pearls. It was upturned at left side and featured pink silk roses and lily of the valley. The bride's bouquet was pink silk roses, lily of the valley, val-ley, baby breath and ivy. It was accented with ribbons of white lace, silver and pink. BRIDESMAIDS were Mrs. Dale Penrod. Eileen Day. sisters sis-ters of the bride: Mrs. Randy Christensen. sister-in-law of groom: Ann Christensen. sister sis-ter of the groom. They wore pink and white printed voile long dresses with standup collar and ruffle. The bodice was ruffled and the dress featured short puff sleeves. The dresses were accented with pink cumber-bunds. cumber-bunds. They held white lace open parosols accented with pink bows at spoke ends and pink silk roses, lily of the valley, val-ley, and pink ribbon inside center of parosols. THE BRIDE'S mother wore a long rose colored dress of polyester crepe. Her corsage was of pink roses, lily of the valley and accented with mother of pearl ribbon. The groom's grandmother wore a grey and rose print long sleeve blouse and long pleated white skirt. Her corsage was also of pink silk roses and baby breath and mother of pearl ribbon. The groom's parents were represented by Mrs. Estell Christensen, paternal grandmother grand-mother of the groom and Cornelius Cor-nelius Keeven, maternal grandfather of the groom. THE BRIDE'S father, best man and usher wore tuxedos of grey, white ruffled shirts accepted with pink. Randy Christensen, groom's brother, performed best man duties with another brother, David Christensen as an usher. PRENUPTIAL parties were given by Chris Cheshire, Ann Moss, Nita Merrell, Melanie Kendall, Mrs. Tawnya Christensen, Christ-ensen, Ann Christensen and Mrs. Joan Asay. The bride graduated from Woods Cross High School and graduated from Snow College in June where she served as secretary of the studentbody this past year. The groom graduated gra-duated from American High School in Mexico City, Mexico Mex-ico and attended Snow College in Ephraim. He filled an LDS Spain Seville Mission. AFTER A honeymoon to Sherwood Hills, they will make their home in Bountiful. |
