Show West Bountiful T.J. Ray, daughter of the Joe Rays has been visiting in Colorado and Natchez, Mo. She has been with friends. The Werner Rosemanns are getting tired of the storms and flooding. In the last heavy rain they were flooded once again. The Gary and Ann Petersons Peter-sons are looking forward to the time when they can open up their cabin in Fairview. Rhea Okelberry has been hospitalized for surgery. She will have to take it easy for about six weeks or so. The Okelberrys attended the missionary mis-sionary homecoming of a nephew just back from Argentina. Argen-tina. Daughter Kathy and family, the Huismans, are living liv-ing with the Okelberrys until they can find a place of their own. Halvor Olsen tells about the number of visitors which have been at the home of his Mother, Ruby Olsen. His sister, sis-ter, Karen Hatch and husband Duane from Bellvue, Wash, have visited. The Hatches visited vi-sited on their way back from Denver. Evelyn and Garth Green have been up from Cedar City. Karen's daughter Julie and friend Matt Brown have also been visiting. They were amazed at the results of the mud slides and flooding in West Bountiful. Ruby's daughter Marjorie has been up from California, too. Her son-in-law Jim Mel-ford Mel-ford is becoming a very good golfer. Halvor has had great flood-ing flood-ing in his pasture. Ruby scraped her arm and had to be taken to the hospital. Dorothy's son had a close call when he was inspecting the substation at 10th N. The team roping done for the 4th of July program was won by Randy Finkbinder, . who received the silver buckle for heeling. The buckle for heading was won by Kevin Christensen. They had a good turnout for the contest. Over 100 teams were involved. Loraine Pack visited in West Bountiful from Idaho. She is a former West Bountifu-lite. Bountifu-lite. Launa Blackburn has been hospitalized. Bea Marsden will take a trip back home to Ireland in August. Au-gust. Melanie Sutton has been hospitalized, but is at home now. |
