Show Missionaries i I ELDER JOHNSON David B. Johnson, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. T. Johnson of Farmington, will enter the" MTC in Provo on July 28. He will serve for 18 months in the Chile, Concepcion Mission. HIS FAREWELL will be held July 17 in the Farmington 6th Ward Chapel. David graduated from Davis High School in 1982 and attended Brigham Young University Uni-versity for one year. He was first chair string bass player with the BYU Symphony Orchestra and played with the chamber orchestra. David has also been a member of the Mormon Youth Orchestra, kj ROSIE BROWN Rosie Brown, daughter of David Leon and Bea Brown has accepted a mission call for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to the Baton Rouge, Louisiana Spanish speaking mission. ROSIE, after graduating from Bountiful High in 1980, has attended both the University Univer-sity of Utah and Brigham Young University where she majored in English. Her farewell will be held in the Bountiful 40th Ward, located lo-cated at 640 S. 750 E. on July 24 at 1 1:45. Friends are invited to an open house at her home, 835 E. 300 S., between 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, July 24. She will report to the MTC Aug. 11. wmy was ELDER MOSS Elder Moss, son of DeVor and Marjory Moss has been called to serve in the Cocha-bamba Cocha-bamba Bolivia Mission. He will enter the Mission Training Center on Aug. 4. DARIN IS a 1982 graduate of Woods Cross High School where he was active in music and served as drum major his senior year. He has attended Utah State University this past year where he is majoring in industrial technology - aeronautics aero-nautics and has continued his interests in music. I ELDER ALGER Elder Mitch Alger, son of Mr. and Mrs. Terry Alger, has recently returned from his mission mis-sion in the New Zealand, Christchurch Mission. HE WILL report on his mission mis-sion on July 24 at 11:45 a.m. in the Bountiful 40th Ward Chapel, 750 E. 650 S. Friends and relatives are invited to attend. I; i CAROL ANN RICE Carol Ann Rice, daughter of Millard B. and Marilyn M. Rice has accepted a call to the Philippine, Cebu mission. She will enter the MTC on July 28. HER FAREWELL will be held Sunday, July 24, at 9 a.m. at the Bountiful 28th Ward, 2000 S. Orchard Dr. Carol, a graduate of Weber State College of Nursing, has been employed this past year as a registered nurse at Bounti- "s ful Care Convalescent Center. Her brother David is presently serving in the Oklahoma, Tulsa Tul-sa Mission. |
