Show Learning Disability Lab Set A "Learning Disability Lab for Parents" in four sessions is scheduled to begin Nov. 9 and continue each Wednesday for the Month. Time is 7 p.m. at the Monie Vista Center, 77 S. 300 E., Farmington. THE LAB is being offered by the Davis School District's Parent Education Resource Center to help parents meet the challenges of learning disabled dis-abled children. Topics to be discussed are: Does your child have a learning disability and-or and-or attention deficit? Are they the same? Understanding and experiencing the world of the child with learning difficulties. Discovering your feelings about the learning disabled child and how the learning disabled dis-abled child affects the family. What a parent can do to make the learning disabled child's life easier, behavior modification modifica-tion techniques and community commun-ity resources. JUDITH Southworth, who has a master of education degree de-gree in educational phsycholo-gy phsycholo-gy and counseling and guidance, gui-dance, will conduct the workshop work-shop sessions. She is currently an educational diagnostician for the Davis School District and has taught at the unit for the behaviorially-handicapped in the district. She is the mother of six children.
