Show Is Honored By School Workers Herbert Patrick of Layton. a custodian for the Davis School District's Farmington Junior High School, was one of six classified school employees honored during the recent annual conference of the Ulah School Employees Association. Associa-tion. MR. PATRICK received a Distinguished Service Plaque from LSEA with ihe presentation presenta-tion made by Asst. Supt. J. Sleven While and Davis Classified Clas-sified Empiovees Association ,. Pres. Bilhe Rose. Mi. Patrick was nominated for the award by a long list of fellow workers and staff from Davis District. He is head custodian cus-todian at the Farmington Junior High School which was used as an evacuation center during the flooding this past summer in that community. MR. PATRICK spent many hours assisting residents of Farmington who were forced to leave their homes and set up residence in his school building. build-ing. Mayor Merrill Petty was cited as having sent a letter of thanks and appreciation to Mr. Patrick in behalf of all those who became homeless overnight over-night when their homes were deluged with water and mud. Mr. Patrick's ability to keep his school so clean under such circumstances amazed everyone. Supt.
