The children are excited about halloween and what costumes they can concoct. con-coct. The men and boys of the family have been and are getting get-ting ready for the deer hunt. Ruth Winegar has been hospitalized hos-pitalized and is now at home trying to recover. Ray Ballou, foster Indian son of the Ron Bangerters is walking with a crutch after spraining his ankle. Gary Neel, his friends and family are excited that he has received his mission call to Boston. He will enter the MTC on Dec. 15. Geneve Settle of the Twin Homes Subdivision has been hospitalized for surgery. She is at home and on her way to recovering. re-covering. Lucia Maughan. daughter of the Dan Maughans, will marry Brad Averett in January of 1984. Malinda and Karl Paget, Kari and Kim Byington took their parents, Alvin and Lora Lee Noker out to dinner at the Paaoda. Also helping with the hosting were David and Neri Noker. The 1st Ward Primary officers offic-ers were treated to a turkey dinner. Jenny Wright received a horse for her birthday. She is the daughter of Bob and Trudy Wright T Kim Byington gave his wife, Kari a new piano for their 9th weddir.g day. Malinda Paget journeyed to Montana to attend the christening christ-ening of Richard's baby. Jolene Jeppson attended the BYU football game last Saturday. Colleen Maloy was in charee of the 5th Ward choir party held recently. They hada potluck dinner, games and other fun things to entertain them. The choir president is Ross Houtz. . The 2nd grade held their special program at the elementary elemen-tary school on Oct. 27. Karen Maloy appeared in a piano recital for the students of Karen Child. It was held at the South Davis Library. Bud and Elva Stringham entertained en-tertained friends after their 50th wedding anniversary. They had Cora Jones, from California and Bud's brother, Jack Stringham and wife Babe Ricky. Corey and Chuck Ferree, children ot the Kelly Ferreesare having a great time playing on the young View-mont View-mont football team. The parents pa-rents spent a lot of their time attending the games. The Dave Hepworths had a quick and fun trip to Yellowstone. Yellow-stone. Madge George has had back surgery and is at home getting better. , Ida Devereau cut and broke her finger. She has a cast on her hand. It is hoped that the tip of the finger will heal well.
