Show Parkite graduates-1 from Utah Tech Susan Turner, who is a resident of Park Meadows, will graduate today, June 6, from Utah Technical College in Salt Lake. She is the outgoing student body president, and last week she was honored as the college's business management student stu-dent of the year. In her official capacity as president of the 9,000-member student body, Turner will make remarks to the graduates at the commencement exercises at the Capitol Theatre. The graduation address will be given by Dr. Chase Peterson, president of the U of U. Turner's studies at Utah Tech include three years in data processing process-ing and business management, with emphasis in sales and marketing management. She now is looking for "the right position," she said. She hopes to find a job in Park City, she added. "With the organizational skills I have acquired, the practical experi-ence experi-ence I have already in sales, and my deep-felt belief in being positive and upbeat, I am convinced good opportunities will come about for me," she said. "I would like Park Record readers to know that it has been a fabulous experience attending Utah Tech. "It has been my pleasure to serve all the students, young and old, in all their diversity of circumstances as only the second woman student body president in the 36-year history of the college," she added. |
