Show I IPdDlnce IEepa&iPit Oh, give me a home where the quadrupeds roam Park City Police spent last week quieting loud parties, chasing down illegal fireworks and arresting drunk drivers, according to the police blotter. During the past week four DUI arrests were made as well as one for public intoxication. On July 22, Don Bernard phoned the Park City Police Department to report that 25 to 35 head of cattle were grazing in his yard at 2905 Telemark Drive in the Solamere development in Deer Valley. When Park City officers arrived at the scene, however, the cattle had moved up the hill. No citations were given. On July 24, a 40-year-old Park City man was arrested for public intoxication on Main Street. According Accord-ing to the blotter, the man was drinking a beer on Main Street when officers approached him. When the officers asked the man to pour out the beer, he responded with a vulgar expletive. After determining that the man was drunk, the officers placed him under arrest for public intoxication. intoxica-tion. He was booked into Summit County Jail in Coalville on $54 bail. Also on July 24, a 50-year-old Park City man was arrested for DUI after police officers observed him running the stop sign at the intersection of Swede Alley and Heber Avenue. After failing sobriety tests he was booked into the County Jail. Park City police officers arrested arrest-ed a 36-year-old Victor, Idaho man on July 22 for DUI after he was observed driving down the wrong side of Park Avenue. The man was booked into the Coalville jail after he failed sobriety tests. A 63-year-old Park City man was arrested for DUI July 21 at 2300 Monitor Drive. Police officers had observed the man driving down the wrong side of Iron Horse Avenue. He failed sobriety tests and was booked into County Jail. Also on July 21, police arrested a 22-year-old West Valley City man for DUI after he was observed to be driving in an "erratic" and "dangerous" "dan-gerous" manner on Park Avenue. He failed field sobriety tests and intoxylizer tests showed him to be legally intoxicated. He was booked into jail in Coalville. Bail was set at $306. 1 Danielle Post reported on July 23 the theft of a car stereo on July 20. According to her report, her Volkswagen was broken into on the night of the 19 th. The stereo is described as a VW Supreme in-dash AMFM cassette stereo. It is valued at $469. Also on July 23, Nancy Schmidt reported the theft of a $40 Schiffilara plant from her porch at 421 Park Avenue. Mark Wilson reported on July 22 that he lost his wallet along Park Avenue between Heber and Empire Avenues. It is described as a tan wallet with velcro fasteners. It contains $35 in cash, various credit cards and a driver's license. Fifth Circuit Court Bruce F. Davis of 1071 Snow Country Drive, Park City, was found guilty of DUI in Judge Micael F. Burton's Fifth Circuit Court on July 20. He was sentenced to 60 days in jail. The jail sentence was reduced to two days' work on a community service project upon payment on a $555 fine. -Michael Scott Wilhelm, 1776 Keams Boulevard, Park City, was found guilty of DUI in Fifth Circuit Court July 20.
