Show Mill levy to be adopted After more than a month of delays, the Park City Council is scheduled to adopt a mill levy today, July 26, for the 1984-85 fiscal year, according to City Manager Arlene Loble. The Council has not adopted a mill levy to date because new property valuations, stemming from recent legislation, have been delayed. According to Summit County Clerk Reed Pace, Park City has been assessed at $131 million. Using the formula which levies tax against property value, Loble said the municipality will set a total mill levy of 15.57 mills. Of that total, 13.15 mills is expected to bring $1,330,000 into the general fund, a 1.4 mill levy will garner $141,638 for the library bond and a 1.0 mill levy will collect $99,825 in ' taxes for the flood control bond, Loble said. Last year the municipality brought $1,110,000 into the general fund from property taxes. The overall mill levy was set at 17.60 for fiscal year 1983-84. |
