Show RECEIVES LETTER FROM PETRDGRAD Harold J. Packer, official reporter of the district court, today received a letter from his brother, Earl L. Packer, who is on the staff of Ambassador Ambas-sador Francis at Petrograd, Russia. The letter came through the State Department. The envelope bore a number of stamps of the old regime of the late czar, bearing the photograph photo-graph of Peter the Great, founder of the modern Russian government. The stamps arc now interesting as souvenirs, sou-venirs, because republican stamps have since been issued, bearing the pictures of rebel chieftains. The young Ogden diplomat is enjoying enjoy-ing himself, in the midst of history-making history-making events. He sent greetings to all of his Ogden friends. |
