Davis, former district attorney, at-torney, today began legal proceedings In the district court in an effort to set aside tho jury verdict In favor of Robert A. Moves, cashier of tho Commercial National bank, In Mr. Davis's suit to recover $6,500, which he 'claims as his half of the profits of a mining stock deal. He also asks for another trial, which, if granted, will be the third. Following are the grounds alleged in his petition, filed today: "Irregularity in the proceedings of the court and jury by which the plaintiff was prevented from having a fair trial; misconduct of tho jury; newly discovered and material evidence; evi-dence; errors in law, and other statutory statu-tory grounds." oo |
