Show ENTERTAM AT AFTERNOON TEA i Quito tho most important ovont of tho week in Ogdcn's society clrclos was the aftornoon tea on Easter Monday given by tho Mesdames Fred M. Nye and O. M. Runyon at the Maid3' and Matrons' club rooms. From three until six o'clock one hundred fifty guests were recolved by the hostesses, assisted by Mrs. Leroy Buchmlller, Mrs Walter Webb, Mrs. J. C. Nyo and Miss Mary Llttlefield. Theso ladies also assisted Mrs. Nye and Mrs. Runyon in entertaining throughout the afternoon whllo Mrs. Hugh Wood, Mrs. Mark Smith, Mrs. George Halverson, Mrs. A. R. Mcln-tyre, Mcln-tyre, Mrs. A. G. Horn and Mrs. Rose Woodruff poured. In the recoptlon room an approprl- ato decorative scheme wag perfected ' ' with Easter lilies in profusion, while in tho dining room a color scheme j : of yellow tulips, harbingers of .spring, .! -gracod the tea tablo and lovoly bowa of fluffy yellow mallno wero prettily arranged. Yellow candles with fluted yellow shades wore offectlvely placed at Intervals on the tablo. A pleasing feature of tho after- -noon's entertainment wns tho delight- w ful musical program glvon by MIsb Lillian Thatcher's orchestra. The selections se-lections were exceptionally well ron- ,' dered and thoroughly enjoyed by the i guests. J |
