Show SKIHER TELLS OF WRESTLING MATGH Speaking today of the disappointing disappoint-ing quality vof tho athletic entertainment entertain-ment staged at the Alhambra theater last night, Manager H. E. Skinner made the following statement to a Standard reporter: r "We have endeavored to give the Ogden fans sporting events that would merit the support of every lover of tho boxing and wrestling games. To do this we have put up the largest purses over given in this territory, and we regret, with the patrons, the disappointment dis-appointment we encountered last evening. eve-ning. Wo were prompted by the bold assertions of Hackenschmldt and the desiro on his part to meet Harbertson, winner to take all of the purse and the spaco given this man in the newspapers, newspa-pers, in his challengo to offer a substantial sub-stantial purse for the match. "The public well knows the ability of Harbertson as a wrestler, and as his opponent was an unknown quan tity as far as ever carrying off any laurels worth mentioning is concerned, concern-ed, we were in no way deceived as to his match with the local man.
